Who are we?
www.epicjapanart.com is a site operated by and for a company called Jellydigio. PayPal and other company information will reflect this.
Handling of your orders
Processing of your order can take up to 10 working days, but it will usually be quicker than this. Please note English bank holidays will be observed. Customers will be informed of any change or issue with this time-frame. Please note that once goods are dispatched for delivery, times will vary per method chosen and dispatch supplier and will be outside our control.
Privacy & customer data
Your privacy is important to us. We will not disclose your information to any third parties except where it is vital to the supply and delivery of your purchases, or with your permission. Comments left on this website’s commenting system implies your consent for their publication on this website. Reasonable efforts to keep your data safe, such as SSL (TLS) security certificates and use of highly reputable payment systems (PayPal) have been made.
We take great care to supply high quality products but in the event you are not happy with your purchase and wish a refund, the first thing to do is email us immediately. Get in touch with us on admin (at) epicjapanart (dot) com to discuss any issues you have with the products.
Damaged / faulty items
If there is damage upon delivery of a product, please email a photo. Please also include your name and address and the date of receipt of goods. In the case of damaged or faulty items we can arrange a replacement item, of course.
If you wish to cancel your order, please notify us within 24 hours of placement.
In the case of non-damaged, non-faulty returns, you will have seven (7) days upon receipt of goods to contact us for a refund and you should ship back the non-damaged, non-faulty goods to us within thirty (30) days of this cancellation notice. We will supply all details for returning the goods. Please do not send back without first consulting us as we will not be responsible for any goods sent back without consultation. The cost of postage and packaging to return goods is the customer’s responsibility and we recommend you get a proof of postage as a minimum measure. Recorded delivery is strongly recommended. Any damage that occurs to the item on its way back may affect your refund.
Customs charges, import taxes
You may be liable for customs charges or import taxes if the product is being shipped to a country outside the UK. Since this will vary from country to country, this is the customer’s responsibility to cover these charges. We are not liable for these charges. We are also not responsible for any delays that may occur due to customs and imports.
Vintage look & feel
Most of our prints are based on traditional processes and vintage (i.e. old!) woodcuts, so colours may appear slightly desaturated. This is by design as we would like you to feel that you have a vintage piece in your home, and it echoes the original’s true state. There are also cases of foxing, tears, paper fibre texture and misaligned print blocks but these should in no way be taken as a defect in our printing process. Colours may vary from your monitor, as this is a completely different system from the printed version. We may, upon occasion, have subtly edited the print to fit in with our processes and print sizes. None of these should take away from your enjoyment of our pieces!
